Daily Flag Puzzle

Daily Flag Puzzle (Flagle) is the daily geography puzzle where, with only "partially revealed" hints, you have six tries to identify the country whose flag is published at midnight. It's the geography variant of the Wordle-style daily puzzle — what's measured isn't pure memorization but your "flag-design → country" mapping skill and your global geography knowledge, exposed instantly as a score.

The game begins with the flag image split into a grid (6×3), with only one tile visible — typically a single color band or one shape. Search for a country name and confirm; you'll immediately see whether you're right. If wrong, one more tile is revealed for your next guess, and a geographic hint shows distance and direction between your guessed country and the correct answer — so you must use both the visual flag cues and Earth-surface location to narrow down.

The fastest tactic is "color combination → region." Red-white-blue horizontal stripes lean European; stars-and-stripes signals USA, Liberia, or former US-influenced nations; green-white-red horizontal stripes are Italy, Hungary, or Ireland; red-yellow-green is heavily African. Even one tile of color ratio narrows the pool to roughly 40–50 countries. For your first guess, pick a mid-position large country (Germany, Egypt, India) rather than a specific target — the distance hint will rapidly collapse the candidate region.

The puzzle pool covers 254 countries and territories, with a fresh answer every day. When the answer is a small, less-known nation (Kiribati, Comoros, Vanuatu), even six tries may not be enough — but the takeaway "today I learned a new country and its flag" still sticks, so daily play naturally builds your global geography knowledge over weeks.

Every midnight, the entire planet tackles the same flag. Results render as the same Wordle-style emoji block grid — no spoilers, just "how many tries did it take?" — perfect for sharing in friend chats, family group chats, or travel-loving group chats. A short daily geography quiz, a world-knowledge showdown with students or family, a challenge link to friends who love to travel — that's Flagle on OgleOgle.
