Color Gradient Puzzle is a hue-sorting color puzzle in the spirit of I Love Hue and Blendoku: a grid is filled with a smooth two-dimensional color gradient, blended between four corner colors, then most of the tiles get scrambled. Your job is to sort the colors back into place — tap two tiles to swap them and rebuild the flawless gradient one step at a time.

Some tiles are anchored — locked in place and marked with a small dot. These anchors are your guides: the true gradient must flow smoothly through them, so read the color trend between two anchors and you'll know exactly which hue belongs in between. The fewer swaps you use, the better your score, because this is a fewest-moves color sorting game, not a race against the clock.

Play the Daily board — a date-seeded 5×5 puzzle that's identical for everyone that day — or pick from four difficulties: easy 4×4, normal 5×5, hard 6×6, and expert 7×7 with reduced contrast that makes neighboring hues genuinely tricky to tell apart. Each mode has its own leaderboard, so you can chase a top rank on exactly the board size you love.

After you solve it, we show the theoretical minimum number of swaps (from permutation cycle decomposition) next to your result, so you see your efficiency as a percentage. Hitting 100% means you sorted the gradient in the mathematically optimal number of moves — the ultimate flex.

Tips: work from the corners toward the center, since the four corner colors are the most obvious. Lean on the anchor dots to lock down each region, and finish one row or column at a time instead of jumping around.
