Four modes are supported. ① N% of a value: find what a given percent of a base number is (e.g. 15% of 25,000 = 3,750). ② What percent: work out what percentage A is of B (e.g. 30 is 20% of 150). ③ Percent change: enter a before and after value to get the increase or decrease with its sign (e.g. 200 → 260 is +30%). ④ Percent increase/decrease: add or subtract N% from a base value (e.g. 40,000 minus 15% = 34,000).

FAQ — Q. What is the difference between percent change and percentage points? A. Percent change expresses the change relative to the original value, while percentage points are the simple difference between two percentages (e.g. 10% → 15% is a +50% increase, and also +5 percentage points). Q. How many decimal places are shown? A. Results are rounded to two decimal places; values smaller than 0.01 are shown to six.
